CuAAC Reagents

The copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) has been widely utilized in applications of bioconjugation. The CuAAC reaction involves the coupling of an azide and a terminal alkyne to form a stable triazole linkage between two disparate molecular entities. While this coupling process is straight forward neither azides nor alkynes occur naturally in biomolecules. NuChemie’s CuAAC reagent set is the simplest easy-to-use method for the incorporation and quantification of both azides and alkynes into almost any biomolecule platform.
