NuLink Thiolation


The incorporation of thiols into proteins is commonly performed to allow for further conjugation via Michael addition, or disulfide formation. Similar to commercially available Traut's reagent, NuChemie's thiolation reagent is an amine reactive reagent for the introduction of a primary thiol. NuChemie's reagent introduces a constitutive quaternary ammonium salt enabling maintenance of charge properties of amines under physiological conditions. Like Traut's reagent, NuChemie's thiolation reagent is water-soluble, however, unlike Traut's reagent NuChemie's thiolation reagent is quantifiable and traceable using its inherent UV chromophore.
